HilverdaFlorist's recap of CAST 2024

HilverdaFlorist looks back on a thriving week at the California Spring Trials 2024. During this week, the latest genetics for the North American market were presented. Also, a selection of new branding concepts were shown to the market.

During CAST the company presented their newest genetics in, among others, Gerbera Garvinea®, Alstroemeria Inticancha®, Alstroemeria Summer Paradise® and Salvia Salgoon®. Haven't you visited our show, or do you want to experience this all over again? Make sure to check out this video presentation by Mazanne & Stef:

CAST Highlight: Garden Gerbera Garvinea® Sweet Blaze
Garvinea® Sweet Blaze sets any garden on fire! This flaming color combination is the newest addition to the Garvinea® Sweet Series, offering sturdy garden Gerberas. Garvinea® varieties have great weather tolerance and provide lots of flowers from early spring until the first frost – for 3 seasons straight.

CAST Highlight: Inticancha® Paraíso
The luxurious dark purple color of the new Alstroemeria Inticancha® Paraíso gives this variety an exclusive look. With large flowers, this plant adds a special touch to any patio or garden. Inticancha® is suitable for outdoor cultivation and shows minimal flower damage under (direct) sunlight.

CAST Highlight: Salvia Salgoon® Lake Flamingo
Lake Flamingo brings a new, fresh pink color to brighten up the Salvia Salgoon® Series! Like a real flamingo, this variety has an elegant appearance and a strong color contrast between the flowers and stem. As Salgoon® can be grown quickly, it is one of the earliest Salvias to be available in garden centers from mid-spring onwards.
