"Control release fertilizers allow for better performance"

The benefits of using fertilizers are undeniable. Investing in buying and applying fertilizers provides the nutrients crops need for healthy growth and improved harvests. However, with every fertilizer application, there is the chance that some of the nutrients will be lost to the atmosphere or deep into the soil beyond the reach of the crops' roots before the plants can effectively utilize them.

Of the three types of enhanced-efficiency fertilizers available to reduce these nutrient losses, controlled-release fertilizers (CRF) are the most sophisticated, offering targeted release of nutrients at rates that match the crops' requirements. With longevities of between 1 month and 1.5 years, ICL's controlled-release fertilizers are the most versatile fertilizers for nourishing soil-grown crops, whatever the climate conditions.
