As for the feedback they had on their new collection, they consistently see the importance of well-defined, vibrant colors. "Varieties such as Shocking Blue, Goldfinch, Atlas, Fortune, and Explorer were very popular due to their vigorous growing and long vase life."

Also, they were showcasing new sub-species of rose, namely the hashtag rose. "Taking great pride as figureheads in rose innovation, we were proud to showcase this rose, creating new possibilities in arrangements, designs, and textures in the floral world."

Additionally, for the first time in Colombia, Plantador showcased their new NUF water ultrafiltration system. "NUF is a cutting edge filtration system which requires minimal energy to work, is compact, and most importantly, filters out nearly all biological solids in the water. Not only does this include "large" solids such as nematodes, but it also filters out particles such as nematode eggs, fungus spores, bacteria such as fusarium, agrobacteria, E. Coli, and most viruses. The results we have seen through nearly one hundred tests from different parts of the areas near Bogota have shown consistent flawless results for all types of water filtration."

"We are proud to serve the Colombian Rose Growers in the pursuit of improved varieties and better, safer, and environmentally friendlier genetics and technology," she concludes.

This week, they will have their open house event in Ecuador.
