Plantion and TICA have entered into an agreement for a new TICA branch (2,500 m2) at the Plantion Wholesale Center. The Plantion team says: "TICA's arrival fits perfectly into the one-stop-shop concept of the Plantion purchasing center. Customers can now also find a wide range of interior and lifestyle products in Ede, the Netherlands". After several weeks of renovation and setup, TICA will open the doors of its new establishment in the course of the summer.

"A purchasing center where green professionals can find everything for their flower shop, garden center, or retail business in one place, with a combination of online purchases and physical inspiration. This sets Plantion apart in the sector. The Plantion Wholesale Center plays a significant role in this: a bustling location with recognized cash & carry businesses around a covered square where professionals meet and where events regularly take place," the Plantion team comments.
Within the Plantion Wholesale Center, Buurman Planten, Dillewijn Alflora, Goedegebuure & de Mooij, and Zalam provide daily supply of fresh flowers and plants as well as various floristry necessities. From the summer onwards, TICA's range of interior and lifestyle products will be added. This aims to enable the Plantion Wholesale Center to better meet desires and needs. And to provide customers with additional inspiration for their entrepreneurship.
Rogier Uivel, director of TICA: "With more than sixty different brands, current customers of the Plantion Wholesale Center can benefit from an even more extensive assortment at TICA. This allows them to stock their stores with distinctive offerings and surprise their customers every week."
TICA already has branches for business buyers in Aalsmeer and Venlo (the Netherlands), and a Concept Store in Venlo. In Ede, TICA aims to closely connect with the florist sector and gain experience with the needs and preferences of this specific target group. This is with a view to potentially adapting the TICA concept for other countries, such as Germany, in the future. The new branch is also chosen for Ede's central location, which attracts customers from both the Netherlands and abroad.
