US (IN): Brenton Leach is the new genetics lab director at ICIA

Brenton Leach has been named Genetics Lab Director at the Indiana Crop Improvement Association (ICIA) , effective immediately.

Leach joined ICIA in November 2020 as Genetics Lab Technician, bringing 10 years of genetic purity and trait testing experience to the team. In July 2021, he transitioned to Genetics Lab Supervisor where he managed the day-to-day operations, while working alongside the genetics team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, and later specialized in laboratory automation in support of genetic purity testing at Dow AgroSciences.

His role as Genetics Lab Director will create an opportunity to drive ICIA's genetic testing forward, as Leach continues leading the genetics team in providing exceptional and quality service for ICIA member customers.
