IFTEX EXPO adds another 25% display space
Six weeks before already the 4th edition of IFTEX will open its doors, a total of almost 200 companies have signed up as exhibitors, an increase of 10% compared to 2014 and with a growth of almost 25% display space. What started last year as a small extension in a new area of the Oshwal building has now grown into a full size new exhibit Hall. The organizers predict a further growth, since according to them it is likely that the event will evolve into an African and even World Flower Trade Exposition. The importance of African flowers in the world trade of cut flowers is growing strong and steady and therefore it can be expected that the area of flower production will also grow. Especially Kenya and Ethiopia are the two most promising countries in Africa that will be responsible for this growth.
The number of buyers signing up for visiting this year’s IFTEX are in line so far with the number of pre registrations of last year.
Based on the current available data it is expected that there will be a growth in the number of attending international flower buyers. Also it is likely that buyers will visit from more as well as new countries that didn’t attend IFTEX before. Therefore the organizers are pleased to informthat the buyers attendance outlook of the 4rd edition of IFTEX is looking very promising and reflecting the overall growth of the expo.
