Over 780 floral industry visitors

2015 Floral Distribution Conference

More than 780 visitors attended this year's Floral Distribution Conference, organized by the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association in Miami, October 21-23. This means the conference continues to grow year by year in terms of attendance.

"We're still here"
Rob Shibata, President of Mt. Eden Floral Supply in San Jose, California assumed the Presidency on Thursday morning, October 22, 2015, following in the footsteps of Alan Tanouye, General Manager of Floralife (a division of Smithers Oasis). Rob’s speech focused on the theme of “We’re still here!” He emphasized that, despite changes in the industry, the company has been able to survive.
 
Awards
Lisa Pritchett of Lilium Design was recognized as the 2015 Retail Florist of the Year by Florists' Review magazine and WF&FSA. Len Levy of Hillcrest Gardens in Paramus, New Jersey was honored as the LTK winner at the 2015 Floral Distribution Conference, for his dedication and significant contributions to the welfare and progress of wholesale florists.
