In first 9 months of 2015

URALCHEM production up 6%

In the first 9 months of 2015, URALCHEM Group enterprises produced 4.4 million tons of products, which exceeds the figures of the comparable period a year earlier by 6.2%. The production of complex fertilizers increased by 31%. The production of ammonia increased by 21%. The production of urea increased by 4%. The production of ammonium nitrate and its derivatives mostly remained at the level of the previous year.

Dmitry Konyaev, CEO of JSC URALCHEM: “In the first nine months of the current year, our companies managed to significantly increase the production. The positive dynamics of performance indicators is the result of shorter repair time, reduced unscheduled downtime and increased daily output of the units. Even in the least favourable market conditions, we do not suspend the investment programmes and continue developing our plants’ capacities. An important factor contributing to the growth of performance indicators was the solution of problems with raw materials in the Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers Plant, which was able to resume production of complex fertilizers this year.”
