Kenya and Oman sign Chamber of Commerce MoU

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing and developing cooperation in business promotion and support of foreign trade and investments in both countries.

The MoU, which was signed during the opening of the Oman Products Expo being held in Nairobi from 29th October to 1st November 2018, further seeks to promote business and develop partnerships and to expand the horizons of trade and business relations between both countries.

Speaking during the signing of the MoU KNCCI vice Chairman James Mureu termed Kenya and Oman historical relations spanning hundreds of years as a stepping stone that can be used to catalyse business relationships going forward.

Following the signing of the MoU a delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry also visited the KNCCI secretariat offices in Nairobi to learn more about how the secretariat works and its interaction with the 47 county chapters.
