September 2018 has been a busy month for the Latin American flower growers. The week after the FlowersExpo in Russia, an important market for the South American growers, the first edition of Expo Flor Ecuador and the 17th edition of the Agriflor were held in Quito. Also, this month, the Naivasha Horticultural Fair 2018 in Kenya took place.
Besides exhibitions, more happened. The weather remained a hot topic. In Kenya, the cold and cloudy days delayed the production, in France, the cold and hot temperatures shortened the garden season and in the US, the nursery industry braced for Hurricane Florence.
