More than 500 stands have been assembled, the exhibition crew is ready, the leaflets are neatly arranged and the coffee has been brewed. In other words, the sixteenth HortiContact has begun.

Sixteenth edition
The trade fair, formerly known as the TuinbouwRelatiedagen Gorinchem, is the most important trade fair for Dutch greenhouse horticulture and every year the Evenementenhal is packed. In recent years, the number of foreign exhibitors has increased steadily and also this year there are newcomers. For example, American LED supplier Fluence Bioengineering is participating in Gorinchem for the first time. Also the Finnish team of Novarbo will be traveling to Gorinchem.
Where last year water treatment was high on the agenda, this year (LED) lighting is expected to be an important topic. With the shifts and increasing competition in the sector, there is also quite a lot happening. Furthermore, parties engaged in employment will have enough to discuss, as the availability of workers in horticulture also is an important subject this year.

The Horticontact itself published this innovation list and we will do our best to follow them all. And not only that – we will also try to photograph the other 400 stands participating.
