Inge de Clerq visited the OZ Planten office. This passionate lady represented VDW Plant from Lokeren (Belgium). At this nursery of no less than 10 hectares, garden azaleas and euonymus are grown with passion for the profession. Inge said that they can offer a wide range of garden azaleas year-round, in pot sizes 13 to 32.
An ornament for the garden
The garden azaleas can handle a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius. The garden azalea is characterized by a rich flowering in spring, after which it adorns the garden in the autumn with its beautiful dark green leaves. The also hardy euonymus is also a piece of jewelry for the garden and is very suitable for hedge plants and solitary growth. At VDW Plant they offer a wide range of types and pot sizes.
Every euonymus is cut back at least once a year and they receive almost the same food as the garden azalea. This makes the plants extra full and has a nice shine on the leaves. It is also nice to know that the euonymus is a very grateful garden plant because it feels at ease on all surfaces.
