Desch Plantpak presents a new, eco-friendly range of pots and trays: D-Tect. Next to Recover this is the second recyclable product range in the Desch Plantpak assortment.
Recover. 100% circular with Cyclos-HTP certificate
Recover products are completely Near-InfraRed (NIR) detectable. This ensures that Recover pots that end up in the waste after use are nevertheless separated from other waste. Recycling yields pure PP that can be reused for new products, such as Recover flower pots. Recover is, therefore, a completely circular product, based on post-consumer plastic; always recyclable. Recover is available in the colours blue, grey, terracotta and olive-green. A video showing the circularity process can be viewed on the Desch website.
D-TECT. Detectable recycled plastic
Desch introduces D-Tect as a pragmatic solution to market demands for detectable pots. D-Tect is an injection-moulded or thermoformed flowerpot, which is perfect for use by growers and easy to recycle afterwards. D-tect is detectable with Near InfraRed (NIR) technology, so it can be separated from waste for reuse during waste processing. This makes D-Tect an easily accessible, recycled plastic pot for the grower that meets the conditions for waste separation, in particular, those set by customers in the United Kingdom. Available as standard in the colour terracotta. Grey and olive-green available on request.
