Over the past three-quarters of a year, Havecon with some regularity has kept everyone informed about the progress of the construction of the new office building, right next to the factory.
The past weeks have been dominated by finishing works and many finishing touches. But recently, the day had arrived: the move.
In the early morning, the entire staff was ready to do the relocation job. A lot of effort was put into it, so that most things were done by the end of the morning. The first computers were connected and telephones installed. The afternoon was used for, among other things, arranging cupboard space and exploring each other's new workplaces.
After all the final chores, it was time towards the end of the afternoon for a congratulatory drink.
Champagne, but work first of course
