From a small shop to a major cut flower producer

Black Tulip Flowers has come a long way from a small retail shop in Sharjah to being one of the largest producers and exporters of fresh-cut flowers.

Black Tulip Flowers has its operations in the UAE, Kuwait, Muscat, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and India. The company is undoubtedly on its way to becoming a global leader in the floriculture industry.

The company grew under the leadership of Mr. Ehiya via several global mergers and acquisitions which has helped in increasing the market reached for black tulips and also reducing the competition in the market. This year black Tulips acquired 35 h Batian Flowers farms in Kenya and their marketing arm Upendo in Dubai. Batian Flowers grow one of the best Roses, Alstroemeria, Florinca, Garden Rose, and Scented Rose. Another major feather added to the cap was, 55 h Hansa farm situated in Ethiopia with a portfolio of more than 50 varieties of roses. The company has acquired the operation of Hansa in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and their marketing arms Hansa flowers, Barcelona Flowers Quality Flowers in the United Arab Emirates. These acquisitions create market access for Black Tulips and enhance their product portfolio. This consolidation in the industry also helps to bring down the competition in the market.
