Royal Van Zanten announces that Maarten Goos has been appointed Managing Director of Van Zanten Breeding as of 1 February 2020. He succeeds the interim management team of Nimbus, which had taken on the role temporarily. Nimbus is the investor behind Royal Van Zanten.

Maarten Goos is not an unfamiliar face at Royal Van Zanten. He started his career at the former business unit Van Zanten Plants. He then worked in different management and director roles for a large international company in the food industry for more than ten years. In the recent past, he was Managing Director at an operating company in the Royal Agrifirm Group, where he had ultimate responsibility for operations and results.
