Terra Nova Nurseries announced a sneak peek of its brand-new variety, Echinacea ‘Atomic Orange’. This fast-growing perennial blooms from July to October, and produces vibrant orange, double flowers that are long-lasting and bloom in great numbers.
Echinacea ‘Atomic Orange’ has a compact, upright habit, making it perfect for mid-garden beds and containers. This plant has a variety of special uses; it is a great cut flower, a hummingbird and pollinator attractor, deer resistant, fragrant, and well suited for the American Deep South.
U.S.D.A. Hardiness Zones for Echinacea ‘Atomic Orange’ are 4-9, and its exposure allows for full sun. It has a foliage height of 16”, a foliage spread of 24” and a flower height of 22”.
