Horticultural packaging manufacturer Macpac added a new product to their assortment recently, namely plastic visors. It might not be in line with their packaging products assortment, but is since the re-opening of the garden centers in the UK it has become a product used in garden centers. "In public facing environments, like garden centers, visors become even more imperative", says Macpac's David Riley.
The Visor has already been authorized by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority) on device compliance and has now received the CE marking.
There is a dedicated link to order the Visors. "This has been placed on the existing Plantpac site which gives it a horticultural association even though the primary purpose was to make use of an existing online ordering platform." And it seems to work as so far, Riley has seen many Garden Centres looking at the Visor page.
