Mother’s Day Florist Results 2020

North America: 84% of the florists reported a better than expected Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was probably the most unusual holiday ever. But how was the day for the North American florist? Florenext surveyed florists and it seem to have been a successful holiday. 

In short, we see that Mother's Day was better than expected for 84% of the florists, The majority of the orders came online, mostly in the fourth week of April. The average order was 75 USD with arranged flowers as the top selling product with chocolates or candy as most popular gift item. Nearly half of the florists did get the flowers they needed, but with some troubles. 

Floranext surveyed 245 florists - of whom 85% is located in the United States, 7% in Canada and 8% international - between May 15 and May 19.
