Havatec machine further optimized

New and old wooden hydrangea stems neatly bunched with Quality Buncher 2.0

In the past two seasons, Havatec has been very busy making the Quality Buncher 2.0 with de-leafer a fit for the hydrangea cut flower. With the necessary adjustments, this Havatec machine is now suited for both new and old wooden stems.

"The Quality Buncher 2.0 cuts, de-leaves, counts and bunches the flowers. By omitting these actions from the current production process, peace of mind and considerable labour savings are obtained", says Alex Rozema. "The Quality Buncher 2.0 can cut at various lengths and can bunch by number of stems (with Hortensia often 5 stems are bunched.)"

The result with new and old wooden stems can be seen in the video below:

The Quality Buncher 2.0 concept has been successfully installed in various crops. Examples are violets, peonies, chrysanthemums, carnations, euphorbia, lisianthus, tulips, alstroemeria, helianthus, irises, lilies, sweet William and many others. Videos showing how different crops are processed with the Quality Buncher can be found here (YouTube channel Havatec).
