AmericanHort is pleased to announce the return of the DIG Conference: Disease, Insects, and Growth Regulators to be held online November 3-5, 2020. Attendees will experience in-depth education on disease, insect, and growth regulator management, connect with other industry professionals and engage in peer-to-peer activities.
At the DIG Conference, attendees will take their Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) strategies to the next level. The conference boasts four tracks of education on topics such as disease, insect and pest management, biocontrols, growth regulator best practices, new technology, sanitation, IPM strategies, and more in both on-demand and live education sessions. In addition, AmericanHort is pleased to present new education on pest and disease identification and management specifically for hemp growers.
On the virtual platform, attendees will be able to interact with both the DIG Conference’s world-class speakers and other green industry professionals. “One key to a great grower-focused conference such as DIG is a proper balance of speakers for educational sessions,” said Holly Scoggins, director of educational programming at AmericanHort, “University researchers and extension specialists, technical services specialists, independent consultants, and experienced growers will all offer valuable perspectives on the topics at hand.”
The DIG Conference will provide many opportunities to connect with other industry professionals and engage in peer-to-peer activities. Coffee chats, DIG Deeper panel discussions, and Industry Interaction Roundtables, allow participants to connect with industry peers and find new ideas and solutions for grower challenges. Attendees can even test their DIG knowledge at the evening Jeopardy!-inspired social event.
“We invite you to join us at the DIG Conference,” said Ken Fisher, President and CEO of AmericanHort. “From the unrivaled line up of education, to the many different opportunities for networking and commerce, the DIG Conference will be a strong resource for green industry growers. You’ll walk away with actionable solutions for the challenges facing your operation.”
