Royal FloraHolland market update - November 20th

NL: "The market is somewhat recovering"

In the Royal FloraHolland market update of Friday November 20, they report that the market is somewhat recovering: both for the clock and direct sales. "This week (week 47) the number of units sold on the clock was 6.3% lower than last year (cut flowers -5.8%; houseplants -10.5%; garden plants -19.8%). Last week, this was 12.6% lower. Direct supply was 1.6% lower than last year. Last week this was still 12.6% lower." 

The middle price on the clock was this week with 35 cents (0.9%) lower compared to the same week last year. A recovery can also be seen here. Last week, the middle price was 9.5% below the level of the same week in 2019. 

The turnaround this week is 0.6%. This is comparable to the turnaround for the same period last year, which was around 1%.
