The cyclamen season is in full swing and the poinsettia season is about to take off in Italy. Due to the caution by the growers in the order phase due to Covid-19, there are less products on the market, but for the cyclamen it turned out well as prices were better for everyone. "Let's hope the same goes for the poinsettia sales," Andrea Lazzeri Product Manager of Lazzeri Società Agricola a r.l., an Italian breeder and young plants company who recently launched his 2021 catalogs.

Poinsettia season
"The poinsettia market in the South was still at a standstill last week, but in the center and north there were the first to load poinsettias. However, the poinsettia sales often really take off in Italy with Immaculate Conception day, which is on December 8," says explains Lazzeri. According to their estimates, there will be less poinsettias on the Italian market this year, because there was more caution in the order phase due to Covid. "We hope for a good poinsettia sale since we all stay at home and a poinsettia is part of Italian customs."
Poinsettia's for 2021
For Lazzeri Società Agricola a r.l., the young plant season is over and is already preparing for the 2021. Cyclamen season
