Phormium continues to build their sales force in Canada and the United States with the appointment of Harman Gilbert. Harman will further expand the market of climate-and screen solutions as Sales Manager North America West. In this role, Harman will join forces with Joshua Gauche, Sales Manager North America East.
Harman is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree and a focus on ornamental horticulture. Harman has always gardened and feels blessed to work in the horticultural field: "It is not always the fact that you get to work in a field that is also your passion," Harman states.
Harman has owned his own interior plant maintenance company and has worked in Sales and Management at Florikan and Biobest. "I realised at a young age that it is incumbent of all of us to protect our environment and I have always searched for companies and products that fit within that philosophy. Phormium's greenhouse screens and agrotextiles are that fit: the high-quality weaving, excellent light transmission and energy control allow growers to reduce their impact on the environment, reduce their costs and increase yields," he says.
Harman lives in Southern California and will be focusing on the Cannabis, Vegetable and Ornamental Greenhouse market.
