Growers Flower Council of India( GFCI) and Uggam Foundation, Hadapsar, Punejointly organised a "Flower Arrangement and Floral Decoration workshop" on the occasion of International Women's Day. The workshop was held on 6th March, from 10a.m. to 1p.m.at Podar Jumbo kids School, Manjari, Pune. At this occasion, Award winning and certified floral designer, Pandharinath Mhaske owner of Sneh Florist, guided the women with demonstrations. He presented different floral arrangements like centrepiece, hand-tied bouquet, fresh flowers in hat boxes etc. also share Post harvest and flower care tips. He presented different flower arrangements in three groups of 10.

All fresh flowers and foliages are sourced by Team GFCI and Floral foam and accessories by Smothers Oasis co.India.
Dhananjay Kadam said, "The purpose of this program is to create a positive atmosphere and encourage women to became self employed by overcoming the rapidness of pandemic by increasing their interest in fresh flowers and its use in daily life."
