Hort Connections is back and registrations for the 2021 event are now open. The event will run from Monday, 7 June to Wednesday, 9 June at the Brisbane Convention Centre in Queensland.
The conference will spotlight the important role that horticulture plays in human nutrition, health, and global food security for the horticulture industry.
Key topics to be discussed at this year’s event include mental fitness, fall armyworm and serpentine leafminer, attracting talent to the horticulture industry, ethical employment practice and more.
Organised by Ausveg and PMA, 2021 Hort Connections will seek to continue the success of the 2019 event, to connect industry leaders, examine trends, and discuss key topics of importance for industry. For those who cannot attend in person, the speaker sessions will be live streamed and available to watch online at the conclusion of the conference.
Greenlife Industry Australia is an Industry Supporter of the event and will have representatives on the ground to promote the nursery industry’s biosecurity program, and the Australian Plant Production Standard as a valuable tool for fruit, vegetable, and nut producers.
Boomaroo Nurseries will be again sponsoring the ‘Boomaroo Nurseries Women in Horticulture’ award, which will be presented to an individual has demonstrated outstanding ability and success in their field.
