ICL’s nutrition program AngelaWeb has been updated and is now faster and more user-friendly than before, while also featuring recommendations for the new generation Osmocote 5.
“At a time when growers are looking to optimize crop performance, while improving labour and nutrient efficiency, precision nutrient is an attractive proposition,” says ICL’s technical manager, Andrew Wilson.
Launched in 2013, AngelaWeb 2.0 won the Technical Excellence Awards at Four Oaks. The latest version – AngelaWeb 3.0 - continues to set new standards devising bespoke nutrition programs for customers, helping ensure crops get exactly what they require while ensuring nutrients are not wasted and saving precious management time. AngelaWeb is also starting to play a key role helping ornamental growers comply with the new Water Framework Directive.
“Upgrading to AngelaWeb 3.0, users will notice a clearer, crisper display and will find it easier to use,” explains Andrew. “By simply inputting data regarding the water supply and particular crop, the software program will produce a full crop plan.
“The upgraded program includes new features such as access to useful information on tank mixes, settings for water-soluble feeds, and detailed release patterns for Osmocote products – helping users make better-informed choices regarding product longevity and rates.
“AngelaWeb 3.0 nutrition programs include Osmocote 5 controlled-release fertilizer, designed and developed to overcome specific nutritional challenges faced by growers using peat-reduced and peat-free growing media. Safely delivering greater nutrient efficiency and effectiveness – Osmocote 5 delivers improved quality plants as well as environmental benefits."
