In the garden center Intratuin in Lovendegem, Belgium, a houseplant was sold for 1,799 euros, within half an hour reports the Dutch newspaper AD. The plant in question is the Monstera Adansonii Veriegata, a tropical plant with white and yellow leaves. It is a 15 centimeters tall plant and a very rare variant of the 'normal' Monstera Adansonii, a houseplant with holes in the leaves also known as the 'monkey mask'.
