The peony, which is a symbol for both compassion and ostentation is a hugely popular cut flower in Turkey and preferred by consumers for different occasions. Peonies are especially used in bridal bouquets on special occasions such as weddings and engagements. The peony, which was introduced to the producers of Yalova within the scope of the project started 8 years ago by the Ataturk Horticultural Central Research Institute, is now among the most popular flowers of the producers. The "peony", which blooms once a year and is in great demand with its colors, beauty, and scent, is sent to all over Turkey by producers in Yalova.
