Khabarovsk region: evaluation of the region's potential for greenhouse construction

Vegetable production in protected soil in the Far East is very unevenly developed. There are several regions in the district where there are currently no commercial growers as such. Among them, for example, Chukotka, Kamchatka Territory, Jewish and Magadan regions, where all commercial production is concentrated in small forms of farms and individual entrepreneurs, or is completely absent.

At the time of the study, June-July 2021, there were 4 industrial greenhouses of the modern type growing vegetables and green crops in Khabarovsk Krai.

All greenhouse complexes are categorized as "small", and their areas of protected soil in operation at the time of the study ranged from 0.1 hectares at the vertical salad greenhouse "Agrarnye technologii buduschego" to 4.9 hectares at multipurpose "JGC Evergreen".
