In July, trade fair GrootGroenPlus closed the registration period, in order to make sure that the accommodation could be fitted to the number of participants. Of course, a little bit of room was left, which was appreciated by the new registrants. That means that the trade fair is now completely booked.
Routing
Some changes were made in the routing. The blue route is now a little shorter, while the red and grey routes have become a little longer. In total, the trade fair route is still one kilometer long. With over 200 participants, the trade fair floor is packed with a wide assortment. And of course, the regulars, such as the Road Show, novelty inspections, sensory garden, exposition, and library, are also incorporated.
Safe and practical
The biggest change is probably the central square. This year, there won't be a closed restaurant, but a roofed food square. Outside, but with a roof. This will help keep the trade fair safe. There also is a toilet group with outside doors. This way, visitors do not have to enter a closed toilet wagon. All routes will also be one-way traffic (to the right), and there will be a separate entrance and exit with a reception, wardrobe, and pressroom in the middle. In all areas, it is possible to keep a 1,5-metre distance. The ventilation in the halls is ideal, and the heaters attract clean outside air.
Forecourt
There still is some space available on the forecourt. Participants who want to display or demonstrate something here can rent a space.
Visitor registration
The visitor registration has also opened and is available in four languages. Booking a ticket is mandatory; this can be done digitally via the website. This will help keep an eye on the number of visitors, and allows for changes if necessary. This year, there won't be any specific time frames. The current rules and regulations allow for that.
Visitors will choose a day to visit, instead of a specific time. The tickets show that GGP is registered for Testing for Entry. Currently, this is not mandatory for October. This is also indicated on the tickets. There will be shuttles to transfer people from and to the parking, and the use of facemasks is required there. That way, the current rules and regulations for public transport are adhered to.
The trade fair opens on 6 - 8 October, on all days, from 9 - 18 o’clock. A hybrid form was chosen, including a digital program. This will allow everyone to experience the trade fair online, and through the free trade fair app. Safety first.
By adhering to all rules, the visitors and participants will have suitable and hospitable ways to meet up.
Expansion of participant profiles
Soon, the connection with the Varb supply bank will be created. However, the participant profiles already include more options. All participants can add their own YouTube movie and add it to their profile pages, on the GGP website, but also in the app. As of 9 August, it is possible to order furniture. Participants will be notified of that. The stand locations and cross-sections of the stands will be sent out in the first half of August. All participant profiles can be viewed through the website, the web app, and the trade fair app.
It has been decided that Groenbeurs Zundert will be held at the same location as the fall fair: the CLTV terrain in Zundert. This fair will take place on 20 and 21 January. Registration is already possible through the Groenbeurs Zundert website.
