NL: Seeds in the spotlight at Seed meets Technology

It might be for the real connoisseurs, but they are definitely at the right place here. For companies that treat seeds, as well as count, weigh, prime, and improve them, Seed meets Technology in The Netherlands was the place to be this week (September 28-30).

It is not as busy as in previous years, which undoubtedly has to do with the restrictions. Yet the space is well filled, and there is a cheerful buzz. And this was not just in Dutch. Quite a few French and German people managed to find their way to Vertify in Zwaagdijk, as well as a few Swiss, Danes, Belgians, and more.

Lectures and symposia were held during the fair. Seed meets Technology is a place for knowledge exchange. After all, seeds are complex, the techniques develop quickly, and the average seed house in itself, although an agricultural company at its core, increasingly resembles a university research lab.
