Special year overview September 16-30

Winning awards and expanding production and assortments

Overall, the last half of September was a positive period for the industry. First of all, there was a celebration in Kenya, as Kisima Farm was awarded with Kenya Flower Council's gold accreditation. And because the industry has been doing well, companies have been expanding. For instance, Hoffman Nursery expanded their production and Van Wingerden Greenhouses expanded their assortment.

Unfortunately, we had to share some bad news as well. The California wildfires were getting dangerously close to California Peony Company and Alaskan peony growers were suffering some major losses. Let's take a look at what you might have missed during the last weeks of September.
