Multiflora implements new LED wall for 4 auction clocks

The South-African flower auction Multiflora decided to replace its current auction clocks by a P4 LED wall of four clocks. Furthermore, the auction ordered a six-month KOSMOS tryout to introduce its stakeholders to the real-time trading platform in the cloud.

Multiflora makes use of the possibility to try out our KOSMOS auction system for a period of six months. For this tryout, we installed our standard KOSMOS version, with the necessary software configurations in order to be able to organise a flower auction. As Multiflora is seeking to extend the local sale in the gallery with remote buying, this plan was also included in the tryout phase.

The KOSMOS project team of the customer will independently test the real-time trading platform after the necessary training and will present its findings to all parties concerned. Based on the internal tests and demonstrations, the feedback from the growers, buyers and users of the auction will be included in a detailed GAP-FIT analysis. This document will contain all the required changes and is thus the perfect guide to correctly estimate the extra time needed for the development and to draw up a final KOSMOS offer.
