The Tropical Plant International Expo (TPIE), a trade event that is showcasing the latest trends in foliage, floral, and tropicals, is about to take off. From January 19-21, around 95 percent of TPIE’s original 450 exhibiting companies (across 770 exhibit booth spaces) will be presenting their products and services in Tampa, Florida.
Expectations are high. Last week, the show reported that buyers and attendees from 45 states and 22 nations were already pre-registered to attend TPIE. In fact, almost 900 retail buyers were already pre-registered at that time.
According to the organization, the high interest reflects the continuing, pent-up demand for tropical foliage and indoor houseplants. "With supply lines stretched, TPIE offers one of the most diverse and immediate marketplaces to expand supply resources, get up-to-date inventory availability, and gain solutions unique to one’s needs."
Not only is an active trade show floor anticipated at TPIE, but several Education Sessions are organized as well. "With more than 900 registrations for the various sessions, a new record may be set for TPIE Road Show and classroom participation this year."
Also, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19 when TPIE delivers a powerful Opening Session: “Embedding a Culture of Innovation in Everyone’s DNA.” The speaker is none other than Duncan Wardle who, while Head of Innovation and Creativity at Disney, steered Imagineering, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar and Disney Parks to innovate.
