Whether potted plants, perennials, or annuals - Dümmen Orange again has pleasant surprises for growers and consumers in its European, African and Asian markets. For the coming season there are new varieties of the Poinsettia series Freya, the new Erysimum series WallArt and the refreshing Senecio series Mandala and Mandala Plus.
The popular poinsettia family Freya is adding two more color varieties: the strong pink Freya Pink and Freya White in noble white. They are the perfect addition to a colorful Christmas and bring the same excellent qualities as the successful red Freya.
With the new Erysimum series WallArt, four compact hybrid varieties are being added to Dümmen Orange’s perennial range, from delicate pearly white to strong pink-red and purple. They stand out due to their nice play of colors, very uniform large flowers, a long flowering period and an intense fragrance. They are wonderfully compact and highly branched. Perfect not only for every perennial border but also for every balcony and terrace.
For the coming season, two new, attractive Senecio series with a total of ten refreshing spring colors are in the starting blocks: Mandala and Mandala Plus. They are suitable for both winter and spring culture and are guaranteed to banish any ‘winter blues’ with their intensive colors. Compared to other commercial Senecio series, Mandala varieties need fewer PGRs, which makes them also attractive as a more sustainable option.
‘Since the IPM Essen is not taking place, we will be using a range of digital channels to continue informing our customers about our innovations, like we did last year,’ says Martina Gerhards, Marketing Manager for Dümmen Orange. ‘Our product managers will introduce customers to our new products in short video messages. And from Week 5 onwards, we will have our Digital Garden online as well, showing all the highlights of our product portfolio.’
