“A little over a year ago we launched this important project for our region and the results are impressive – almost seven million roses have been grown near Novosibirsk, in Siberia", says the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, A.A. Travnikov. During a working trip to the Novosibirsk greenhouse complex on January 26, the Governor was shown the work of a section of varietal roses created as part of the second stage of the Siberian Rose investment project.
"The supply market covers regions from the Far East to Moscow. Economic returns for both the district and the region: these are new jobs, an increase in average wages at the enterprise, and taxes. Words of gratitude to our partner, the investor for the implementation of such a project,” the Governor stressed.
“Our plans are to completely transfer the Novosibirsk greenhouse plant to flowers. Now all efforts are aimed at increasing labor productivity, we are expecting the delivery of new equipment for sorting flowers. We are doing everything to provide the Novosibirsk Region, the entire Federal District with the number of flowers, the assortment that are in demand here,” said the founder of the Gorkunov Group of Companies, B.V. Gorkunov.
The Novosibirsk Greenhouse Complex was put into operation in three stages. In 2021, the used area of greenhouses was 14.73 hectares. From May to September 2020, the company implemented the first stage of the investment project for the reconstruction of 2 hectares of greenhouses for growing roses on a slice. The first production release took place in November 2020. In the period from May to October 2021, the second stage of reconstruction of greenhouses was carried out with an increase in the area allocated for the cultivation of roses to 4 hectares. The volume of flower production in 2021 amounted to 6.8 million pieces. The implementation of the new project will provide the Novosibirsk region and the nearest regions with high-quality flowers.
