Dixon horticulturist presenting seminar at Wisconsin garden and landscape expo

B.J. Miller of Dixon, a horticulturist and greenhouse technician at Kishwaukee College, will make two presentations on houseplants during an expo at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The 29th PBS Wisconsin Garden and Landscape Expo will be Feb. 11-13 at Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center.

Miller’s seminar is titled “Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know About Indoor Growing.” Her first presentation will be at 3:45 p.m. Feb. 12 in Mendota Rooms 6-7 and the other will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 13 in Mendota Room 3.

Miller will discuss all-around plant care, touching on nutrients, water, growing conditions, lighting and troubleshooting issues. Each session include questions and answers.

The expo starts at noon on Friday, Feb. 11 and runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 12 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 13. Advance discounted tickets are available at wigardenexpo.com. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Event passes also are available
