45 Havatec Twisters already put to work

Since the introduction of the Havatec Twister in 2020, many companies have already started making hand-turned bouquets automatically. The Twister makes bouquets of 10 to 35 stems, is available in various models, and is in operation in multiple countries.

Installations can be found in America, Canada, the UK, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. The Twister consists of a number of turntables on which the various flowers are placed. These turntables are filled manually according to the recipe of the bouquet. The software system indicates the correct boxes where the flowers are to be arranged. These turntables are connected to a conveyor belt that rotates towards the carousel. The bouquet is then made in the carousel. As soon as the bouquet is finished, it is transported from the carousel to a compartment belt with an integrated wrapper. The number of wrappings and height is adjustable. The Twister can automatically transform a wide variety of flowers into a cross bouquet.

It is also used to make field bouquets.

Havatec has already built 45 Twisters and is looking forward to the next projects. The concept offers considerable labor savings, resulting in very high returns and continuity!

Specifications of the Havatec Twister:

  • The Twister is supplied with 2, 3, or 4 turntables
  • The length of the bouquets is adjustable
  • Number of stems per bouquet 10-35, depending on the volume of the flowers
  • Quick carousel change if large core flowers are used (e.g., Hydrangea)

RTL recently made an item about the Twister, which can be viewed here.
