DryGair presents 'A New Way to Grow'
A New Way to Grow' is a holistic growing concept that lets growers optimize greenhouse cultivation and maximize energy savings. Both of which are made possible by improving control over the greenhouse environment.
Using a set of simple principles, growers can increase their yields, improve product quality, prevent diseases organically, and save as much as 50% on total energy consumption, all with an ROI of 1-3 years. With rising energy prices, saving energy is quickly becoming more and more necessary for growers in all sectors.

Metazet FormFlex's Hanging Basket System
Metazet FormFlex introduced the Hanging Basket System more than fifteen years ago for companies that cultivate hanging flowers and plants. Thanks to a new control system, automatic watering unit, and options for multi-layer cultivation, the system promotes efficiency in various areas.
The Hanging Basket System promotes efficiency at greenhouse horticulture companies because cultivating on two layers is possible, the layout can be divided into sections, and plants are supplied with water automatically. The quantity of water can optionally be maintained via the OASIS water-by-weight system. In addition, the integrated pocket means work can be carried out on plants from a fixed, comfortable position. The system can be installed in both new and existing greenhouses. Click here for more information.
Dramm to educate more about HANS systems
Dramm recently announced their partnership with HANS™ Premium Water, and at Cultivate, they are ready to educate more about HANS systems and how to integrate them with our other components to improve your water. Click here for more information about the partnership.
Priva presents closed-loop irrigation systems
Live at Cultivate 2022, Kees van der Kruk, water systems manager at Priva, will present on commercial-scale recirculating systems and water-use efficiency in greenhouse cultivation. This session is the perfect opportunity to advance your knowledge of irrigation recirculation infrastructure, best practices for water management, and how data-driven solutions can increase production efficiency while minimizing your water footprint.
"When recirculating irrigation water, you're reusing expensive fertilizers and perhaps elements that you do not want to release into the environment," explains Kees, "and in areas where good quality fresh water is a limited resource, reusing the water is good for the environment and good for the bottom line." Pressure from society and from governments in the form of regulation to stimulate growers to start recirculating their water is partly based on reducing emissions but also considers the availability of fresh water. And getting all of the potential out of the water is a sustainable and smart way of growing.
BioSafe hosts Cultivate party
Besides presenting their OxyFusion system, Biosafe will also be hosting their Cultivate party in partnership with Dosatron and JR Peters Inc. The party will be held Monday night, so growers are encouraged to visit the party hosts' booths to receive their entry wristbands.
