The three-day tradeshow Salon du Végétal has come to an end. Many different parties participated: landscapers, gardeners, local authorities, industry partners and equipment suppliers. Of the over 250 exhibitors, 85% was French, and 15% came from abroad. 40% of the exhibitors came from the plant production sector, whilst 36% were suppliers of equipment for the sale and presentation of plants.
The French sector for horticulture encompasses over 52.000 specialized companies, and accounts for more than 186.000 jobs, with a yearly turnover of more than 15 million Euros.
