Last Friday, the 16th of November, Taspo Awards were presented at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Berlin. One of the winners was German-Dutch entrepreneur Theo Roelofs, who took first place in the Garden Centre category with his Holland Park. The evening was presided over by presenter Laura Wontorra.

Holland GmbH's Garden Centre combines garden centre and entertainment for young and old with classic Dutch charm. The combination of a garden centre with a Dutch-inspired look and recreational attractions was opened this spring.

The TASPO Awards, first presented in 2006, highlights the best products, innovations, and concepts from the green industry. Companies from production, trade and services, suppliers, industry associations, and other horticultural organizations can submit their concepts for the competition in some 16 categories. Anyone producing or based in Germany can qualify for the prize.

The TASPO Awards is an initiative of TASPO, a weekly magazine for the green sector. The categories cover all areas related to horticulture and floriculture. They are divided into the categories Product, Company, and Marketing & Management. In addition to the editors of Taspo themselves, the jury consists of a group of well-known personalities experts.
