The exact number of visitors has not been counted yet, but the first in-person FlowerTrials after the pandemic-caused hiatus was very busy indeed. Visitors from all over the world (minus Russia and some east-Asian countries) made their rounds to see what's blooming at the 60+ breeders organizing trials, often combining their trip with a visit to the international horticulture fair GreenTech in Amsterdam.

October - Photo report IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show
On October 28 and 29, the International Fresh Produce Association held its Global Produce & Floral Show (GPFS) in Orlando, Florida. For the first time since 2019, the organization was able to hold an in-person event. This, combined with the fact that it was the first show since PMA and United Fresh merged last year, resulted in high expectations from industry members. Whether this would be the biggest and best event ever is what everyone was wondering upfront. Although official numbers are not available yet, it may not have been the biggest show ever, but statistics don't say it all. The success of an event is determined by many more factors. Also, this year, the "Floral Marketplace," that has been introduced several editions ago, is getting a more and more established spot at the show, and this year, our FloralDaily.com team was again present to make a photo report of that show.
November - Photo report: IFTF 2022
The 12th edition of the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) is a wrap. Like other years, visitors from all over the world attended the show enabling the international flower grower, the core of the exhibition, to meet new buyers. The organization, HPP Exhibitions, is pleased with this year's show and is looking forward to growing even further in 2023. FloralDaily was also present to make a photo report of the show.
