Family-owned Keit's Greenhouse & Floral Center is closing its doors in Bay City after 167 years and many generations in the business.
The shop, known for its fresh and dried floral arrangements and "extensive" gift line, announced Wednesday its plans to close in less than one month.
"To our deeply valued patrons that have become our dear friends and family, the time has come for us to say, 'Farewell,'" the Keit Family and business staff wrote in a Facebook post. "We have made the difficult decision to close our doors on Feb. 1, 2023. We have had the greatest honor and pleasure to serve each and every one of you and our community from our location at 1717 S. Euclid Ave."
"Thank you for inviting us into your lives as well as trusting us with some of life's greatest celebrations, moments, and tributes," the post continued. "We will be forever thankful for the many memories and the outpouring of love and support over the years."
