US (CT): The Connecticut Flower Show to open 'Gateway to Spring' exhibition Feb. 23

As early spring begins to bloom in the Nutmeg State, the Connecticut Flower Show is opening on February 23 for a four-day event filled with plants, landscape designers, and more.

The theme of the 2023 show is "Gateway to Spring," and it will fill the Connecticut Convention Center with over 150,000 feet of plants and gardens. Low-maintenance vegetable and herb plots are among some of the example gardens that will be on display at the Connecticut Flower Show.

The show will also have 23 live gardens, botanical arts, and seminars on landscaping and horticulture. Seminars and live demonstrations will go over topics such as "Good Bug, Bad Bug, or Benign Bug?," "No Dig Gardening," and "Low Light Houseplants." The schedule for seminars can be found on the flower show's website.
