Nearly 1,000 consumers took home Senetti plants from the Philadelphia Flower Show as part of the Potting Party workshops led by botanical artist Tu Bloom. He showed them how to make cool-season combos, pairing Senetti with Cool Wave pansies and other accent plants. Senetti plants were grown locally by Peace Tree Farm. More than 50 consumers participate in each sold-out workshop three times a day during the 8-day show. The fun, educational workshops appeal to a diverse mix from children to parents and grandparents, couples, singles, siblings, and friends. For some, it’s a tradition every year. Others are new gardeners. One company booked a party as a team-building activity.
Exposure for Senetti
Tu Bloom was featured in at least six television programs during the Philadelphia Flower Show to promote the potting parties and demonstrate how to make the Senetti planters. In addition to reaching the larger greater Philadelphia market, the Fox Weather Live spot was national.
