Starting this week, River Flowers is supplying a brand new spray chrysanthemum variety, Fabienne. This pink novelty, which was bred by Royal Van Zanten, is available from today.
Decorative
Spray chrysanthemum Fabienne (VBN number 128186) is grown exclusively by River Flowers in Zaltbommel. From week 18 onwards the grower will be supplying an average of 25,000 stems of Fabienne per week. Its wonderful pink flowers are beautifully spread out over the branches, providing plenty of extra decorative value. But Fabienne not only ticks all the boxes in terms of visual appeal; this variety also matures very well in the vase.
Special name
This novelty is not called ‘Fabienne’ for nothing. This pink spray chrysanthemum is named after Royal FloraHolland’s auctioneer Fabienne Rood, who used to auction chrysanthemums. She spotted this new variety at a flower trial at Royal Van Zanten and loved it. So the Royal Van Zanten team decided to name the novelty after her.
