The greenhouse construction, which was started by the Municipality of Osmaniye within the scope of the "Every Woman is 1,000 Flowers Greenhouse" project and which will produce nearly 2 million seasonal flowers per year, is about to be finalized.
Within the scope of the Social Development Support Programs (SOGEP) carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, construction works continue on the greenhouse construction where seasonal flowers will be produced within the framework of the "Every Woman is Thousand Flowers Greenhouse" project signed between the Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency (DOGAKA) and Osmaniye Municipality. Preparation of the ground, anchor posts, interior and exterior columns, installation of gutters, and exterior cladding work began in the flower greenhouse, where the roof and upper caps were mounted. It is aimed that the flower production greenhouse, which will be produced in a closed area of 3,000 square meters when completed, will be completed in a short time and ready for production. The flowers produced in the greenhouse, which is designed as a full automation greenhouse in Gothic style, will be used seasonally by the Parks and Gardens Directorate in landscaping works to give the city a more modern look.
Mayor Kadir Kara stated that the construction of the greenhouse project is nearing the end, and said, "When it is completed, approximately 2 million seasonal flowers will be produced annually in this greenhouse. The flowers produced will be used in parks and gardens according to the season."
