Largest IFTEX to date kicks off in Nairobi

The Oshwal Center in Nairobi, Kenya, opened its doors to the 10th edition of the IFTEX. The traditional Opening Ceremony took place this morning when Dick van Raamsdonk, General Director HPP Exhibitions, Isaac Macharia, Phytosanitary and Biosecurity Services KEPHIS, Richard Fernande, Chairman KFC, and Willis Audi, Director General AFA, opened the show.

During the 1-hour ceremony, organizers highlighted the growth and potential of the IFTEX exhibition- which is the largest IFTEX to date, with 165+ exhibitors. On top of that, they also pointed out the importance of the Kenyan floriculture industry - which employs more than 200,000 people directly, and 2 million people depend on it.

The show will last until Thursday, June 8th, and our FloralDaily reporter will be on site to make a photo report and to discover the developments and what is hip and happening in this market. So, stay tuned for more pictures and info.
