The latest "Nido" innovation when it comes to fertigation in protected crops - One V2 - will make its international debut at the Greentech fair in Amsterdam.
CEO Andrea Carloni explains that "our automated management system can be installed in just a few minutes: it only takes two through holes in the nutrient solution tank to make the greenhouse automated and connected. Our system stands out due to its simplicity, efficiency and contained costs compared with any other technology available on the market."
"It's compatible with any other existing hydroponic system and it's ideal for all soil-less crops, monitoring and maintaining optimal nutrient solution ranges, managing pH and fertilizers. The system is suitable for small and medium greenhouses from 1 to 4,000 sq m." Nido srl is based in Cattolica (Rimini).

The brand-new version Nido One V2 can manage between 10 and 10 thousand liters of water. "It's the definitive solution for advanced automation in crops. With its ability to manage fertigation, the weather, and greenhouse devices, it helps optimize cultivation in a simple and precise manner. It can be installed in just a few minutes and transforms any crop in a state-of-the-art automated system in compliance with the standards of agriculture 4.0."
Martina Chiggio and Andrea Carloni
Nido One V2 is compatible with all hydroponic and aeroponic closed systems with a water basin between 10 and 10,000 liters. Unlike traditional line fertigators, Nido One V2 is connected directly to the tank with the nutrient solution and, thanks to digital pH and EC sensors, it regulates the quality of water in a constant and precise manner."
The system can be managed via smartphone. "Nido becomes even more powerful thanks to the innovative Web App, which enables to analyze all parameters and crop results."
Pre-set programs help even the least expert growers obtain the maximum from their crop: operators just need to set the 'recipe' and Nido feeds the crop so as to maximize yields with the minimum input.
